Weāre thrilled to announce a special event at Haikara: Italian-Japanese chef Andrea PirasĀ (@senpai.cph) is coming to Paris for a 5-day ramen takeover.
From Tuesday to Saturday, Andrea will be working side by side with the Haikara team to serve two exceptional ramen dishesĀ ā one meat-based, one vegetarian ā crafted with care and precision. This is a rare chance to experience one of Copenhagenās best ramen, right in the heart of Paris.
šØāš³ About Andrea Piras Andrea is an Italian chef with a love for Japanese cuisine and a background that blends fine dining with comfort food.
After gaining experience in several Italian restaurants, he trained at Aga, a Michelin-starred restaurant in the Dolomites, before completing a life-changing internship at NomaĀ in Copenhagen. It was there that he fell in love with the city ā and with ramen.
He spent five years at Slurp Ramen Joint, the last three as Head Chef, and later traveled to Tokyo to work at Inua, the restaurant of Thomas Frebel.
Andrea has now launched his own independent project in Copenhagen: SenpaiĀ ā a creative culinary space that bridges the cultures that shaped him most: Italian and Japanese.

š½ Meanwhile: Sho Miyashita heads to New York with WE ARE ONA While Andrea takes over in Paris, our chef Sho MiyashitaĀ will be representing Haikara in New YorkĀ from May 7 to 15, as a guest chef at WE ARE ONAāsĀ exclusive pop-up during Frieze, TEFAF Art Week and the MET Gala.
